I think that HRPS puts out one of the best newsletters of any local historic preservation group. It's always a pleasure to read.

On behalf of the students and staff of Veterans Memorial Elementary School, I would like to thank you for developing historical tours for the fourth grade students of Washoe County. The slide show the day before prepared the students for what they would see and increased interest and attentiveness and the docents were extremely knowledgeable. The teachers and students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and educationally, it was a perfect fit for the fourth grade state history standards. We appreciate your concern for our schools and students and acknowledge your dedication to support education. We salute you for setting an example for others to follow. We realize you had many options and we are very grateful that your selected our school.
Most sincerely, —Gloria Geil Principal, Veterans Memorial Elementary School
